KrodelThis park is owned and operated by the City of Point Pleasant and features a pair of small lakes, or large ponds, if you will, large enough to paddle boat and fish, but not large enough to water ski. The entire lake system has a decent walking path. Camping is available, with some full time spaces occupied. Also, the grounds have an historic site, Fort Randolph (off site link). CampingThe park features campsites. ReviewWell, we really didn't like the camp sites; they were dirty, unkempt and disappointing. The full time camp sites are little unkempt, the signs are bent, roads need maintenance, and generally, the place had an unwelcome atmosphere for camping. The walking path around the lakes is great place to go for a walk because it is paved and flat; may folks take a evening stroll. There are a few new picnic tables and nice pavilions to relax and enjoy the lakes; we didn't see any grills. Location1186 Charleston Road
